In January of 2008, NASA's Rover "Spirit" transmitted this highly interesting picture, along with hundreds of others back to Earth. The image was published in news magazines around the world and created quite a lot of fuzz. Rightfully so, in my opinion.
(magnification)
(wide shot) The object is located in the bottom left corner
NASA scientists seemed puzzled over the object themselves at first, but later spokesman Dwayne Brown would say that "It's a two-inch piece of rock eroded by the wind".
Is it really? In relation to the Rover the object actually appears to be very small, not really the size of a statue, but rather a figurine. The object in "walking motion" appears to have very distinct humanoid features, and in spite of it's small size looks very intriguing.
We can only speculate on NASA's (U.S. government agency) reasons for the dismissal of the importance of this find, but as we learned from the great work of many researchers and filmmakers, they've done it before. Who do you trust? The government, or your lying eyes?
Below is a selection of the most convincing documentaries on the UFO and Crop Formation phenomena that I have ever watched in over 15 years, privately doing my research. Highly recommended!
I Know What I Saw
(2009) A documentary guaranteed
to change the way we see the universe. Director, James Fox assembled
the most credible UFO witnesses from around the world to testify at The
National Press Club in Washington D.C.: Air Force Generals, astronauts,
military and commercial pilots, government and FAA officials from seven
countries tell stories that, as Governor Fife Symington from Arizona
stated, "will challenge your reality".
Their accounts reveal a behind-the-scenes U.S. operation whose policy is
to confiscate and hoard substantiating evidence from close encounters
to the extent that even Presidents have failed to get straight answers. I KNOW WHAT I SAW exposes reasons behind government secrecy from those involved at the highest level.
(2001) EBE Award Winner! Best Film - International UFO Congress Film Festival. This
program presents the history of UFO sightings by NASA Astronauts and the facts
around a secret independent study to monitor the digital video cameras on all
NASA Space Shuttle missions. Martyn Stubbs recorded over 2,500 hours of live
NASA video transmissions over a period of five years. Some of this footage
shows what appears to be intelligently controlled UFOs caught on NASA's own
video cameras. This "historic" video footage and the story that lay
behind its discovery can now be revealed.
This film was originally released in 2001 and revolutionized UFO research with
NASA Space Shuttle cameras. This film remains today an important source of UFO
research.
(2008) Celebrating the historic and still unexplained Arizona mass sighting of
1997. Executive producer, writer, director & key witness, Lynne D.
Kitei, M.D., in collaboration with producer & cinematographer, Steve
Lantz, share riveting NEW data and personal interviews in this updated
version of the internationally critically acclaimed and award winning
Documentary. Plus BONUS FEATURES. During the evening of March 13,
1997, a mile-wide, V-shaped formation of lights (that seemed to be
attached to something) slowly and silently traversed throughout Arizona
at a very low altitude for many hours. The inexplicable and awesome
event was witnessed by thousands of people, while they were looking up
at the sky, purposely to catch a glimpse of the Halle-Bopp Comet. The
significant statewide incident garnering headline news, catching the
attention of USA Today, CNN, MSNBC, The Discovery Channel, EXTRA,
national morning TV shows, as well as the Evening News with Tom Brokaw
and Dan Rather. UFO buffs call it the most documented and
important mass sighting ever recorded. But still today, the military and
government can only offer questionable explanations as to what the
anomalous lights truly were. In over 11 years, the strange phenomena
have never been duplicated or re-enacted [although the military tried
fruitlessly, three years later]. Many experts and witnesses insist that
what appeared in the Arizona skies was something beyond this world. Based
on the bestselling book, "The Phoenix Lights...A Skeptic's Discovery
That We Are Not Alone", over 30 credible eyewitnesses, children,
scientists, military, pilots and experts give compelling testimony to
the reality of these mysterious global visitations.
Unusual lights have been reported here since 1940s or earlier.
Especially high activity of Hessdalen lights took place from December
1981 until the summer of 1984 when lights were observed 15 to 20 times
per week. The frequency of the lights caused a gathering numerous
tourists staying there overnight to see the phenomenon. Since then, the
activity has decreased and now the lights are observed some 10 - 20
times per year.
The Hessdalen light most often is a bright, white
or yellow light of unknown origin standing or floating above the ground
level. Sometimes the light can be seen for more than one hour. There
are several other types of unexplained lights observed in the Hessdalen
valley.
Since 1983 there has been ongoing scientific research
often nicknamed "Project Hessdalen", initiated by Dr. Erling Strand. In
1998, the Hessdalen AMS automated scientific research station was built
in the valley. It registers and records the appearance of lights.
Later,
the EMBLA program was initiated. It brings together established
scientists and students into researching these lights. Leading research
institutions are Østfold University College (Norway) and the Italian
National Research Council.
(2011) Discover the hidden secrets of a timeless mystery in this award winning
film about the greatest Crop Circle formations ever created. The
creators of these paranormal formations still remain a mystery. After
years of painstaking research, scientific evidence still points to alien
influences that are responsible for this phenomena. One thing is
certain, what you are about to see in this amazing film can only be
described as miraculous evidence of a secret art form that continues to
defy explanation.
Controversial and throught-provoking are two words that describe one of the most talked-about documentaries of 2006.
Determined to find the law that requries American citizens to pay income tax, producer Aaron Russo (Bette Midler'sThe Rose, Trading Places) set out on a journey to find the evidence.
Neither
left nor right-wing, this startling examination of government exposes
the systematic erosion of civil liberties in America since 1913 when the
Federal Reserve system was fraudulently created. Through interviews
with two U.S. Congressmen, former IRS Commissioner and former IRS and
FBI agents, tax attorneys and authors, Russo connects the dots between
money creation, federal income tax, and the national identity card,
which becomes law in May 2008 and will use Radio Frequency
Identification (RFID) technology. Could this be a precursor to an
impending police state in America? Watch the film and make your own
conclusions.
(2003) "The Corporation" is a Canadian documentary film written by Joel Bakan,
and directed by Mark Achbar and Jennifer Abbott. The documentary
examines the modern-day corporation, considering its legal status as a
class of person and evaluating its behavior towards society and the
world at large as a psychiatrist might evaluate an ordinary person. This
is explored through specific examples. Bakan wrote the book, The
Corporation: The Pathological Pursuit of Profit and Power, during the
filming of the documentary.
This spectacular documentary uncovers for the very first time, the
actual mechanisms by which mobile phone technology can cause cancer. And, how
every single one of us is reacting to the biggest change in environment this
planet has ever seen. Two billion years ago life first arrived on this planet; a planet, which
was filled with a natural frequency. As life slowly evolved, it did so
surrounded by this frequency. and Inevitably, it began tuning in.By the time
mankind arrived on earth an incredible relationship had been struck; a
relationship that science is just beginning to comprehend.Research is showing
that being exposed to this frequency is absolutely integral to us. It controls
our mental and physical health, it synchronizes our circadian rhythms, and it
aids our immune system and improves our sense of well being. Not only are we surrounded by natural frequencies, our bodies are filled
with them too. Our cells communicate using electro-magnetic frequencies. Our
brain emits a constant stream of frequencies and our DNA delivers instructions,
using frequency waves. Without them we couldn't exist for more than a second. This
delicate balance has taken billions of years to perfect. But over the last 25
years the harmony has been disturbed. and disturbed dramatically. Mankind has submerged itself in an ocean of artificial frequencies. They
are all around us, filling the air and drowning out the earth's natural
resonance. To the naked eye the planet appears to be the same. But at a cellular
level it is the biggest change that life on earth has endured; the affects of
which we are just starting to see and feel.
Thousands of people have had near-death experiences, but scientists
have argued that they are impossible. Dr. Eben Alexander was one of
those scientists. A highly trained neurosurgeon, Alexander knew that
NDEs feel real, but are simply fantasies produced by brains under
extreme stress. Then, Dr. Alexander’s own brain was attacked by a
rare illness. The part of the brain that controls thought and
emotion—and in essence makes us human—shut down completely. For seven
days he lay in a coma. Then, as his doctors considered stopping
treatment, Alexander’s eyes popped open. He had come back. Alexander’s
recovery is a medical miracle. But the real miracle of his story lies
elsewhere. While his body lay in coma, Alexander journeyed beyond this
world and encountered an angelic being who guided him into the deepest
realms of super-physical existence. There he met, and spoke with, the
Divine source of the universe itself. Alexander’s story, described in Proof of Heaven is not a
fantasy. Before he underwent his journey, he could not reconcile his
knowledge of neuroscience with any belief in heaven, God, or the soul.
Today Alexander is a doctor who believes that true health can be
achieved only when we realize that God and the soul are real and that
death is not the end of personal existence but only a transition. This
story would be remarkable no matter who it happened to. That it
happened to Dr. Alexander makes it revolutionary. No scientist or person
of faith will be able to ignore it. Reading it will change your life.
What I would like to add In this book, Dr. Eben Alexander describes his astonishing Near Death Experience (NDE), which according to the author stands out quite a lot compared to other peoples' NDEs documented in the past. As a regarded and experienced neurosurgeon, Alexander has a vast knowledge of the brain, and has performed many operations on patients brains over the years of his career. Up until it happened to himself, Dr. Alexander believed that NDEs were complex phenomena produced by the brain, as he thought (as most materialists) that consciousness is a (yet unexplained) phenomenon produced by the brain. His own Near Death Experience, which he had for the duration of about 7 days when he fell into a coma due to a very rare and potentially deadly E coli infection, turned Dr. Alexander's materialist world view up side down.
It's a very personal, well written and edited book. In short chapters the author alternates between accounts of his NDE, the parallel events unfolding in the Intensive Care Unit and detailed medical reports on his condition, as well as personal accounts of the events unfolding with his family at this time. Skillfully he weaves in personal stories which at first glance seem unrelated, yet in the end masterfully complete the picture. Dr. Alexander does a great job in the effort of putting his emotions and accounts on paper. The reader feels a if he/she really gets to know the author, especially from an emotional side.
In the Appendix at the end of the book, infectious disease specialist Dr. Scott Wade, who treated Dr. Alexander during his coma gives his medical report and opinion on the matter.
Dr. Alexander's NDE and the circumstances of his recovery appear to be outstanding in the following regards
He is a trained & experienced neurosurgeon (cutting edge of science on the brain)
His particular type of E coli (meningitis) infection was pretty unique in regards to the very low probability of infection and his miraculous and full recovery
The Infection switched off almost 100% of the Doctor's brain activity
The long duration of the NDE
The lack of remembrance of his own personality during the NDE
Negative points I have to mention
As with most American prints, the paper quality frankly is moderate, even with the hardcover edition. The book jacket (hardcover) however is beautiful to look at (shimmering) and very well designed.
Bottom Line An great & inspiring book that should be part of every one's library.
Interview with Dr. Eben Alexander on the "Coast To Coast AM" Radio Show
"God Is Not Dead is a fascinating guided tour of quantum physics, consciousness, and the existence and experience of God. University of Oregon physics professor Amit Goswami shows readers that God's existence can be found in clues that the science of quantum physics reveals. Goswami helps readers to break through their materialistic conditioning, viewing reality as defined by Newtonian physics, to become free through a quantum understanding and experience of consciousness and God. In fact, God Is Not Dead argues for a quantum activism, leading a balanced life that incorporates both the quantum and material worlds and an experience of consciousness.
God Is Not Dead will change how readers think and experience the nature of reality, the existence of souls, the power of dreams, the universality of love, the possibility of ESP, and the very mind of God." What I would like to add
This book should be both appealing to readers of the materialist scientific background (or conviction), as well as to the common Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, and to readers who are interested in the metaphysical and in ancient spiritual traditions. The perspective of quantum physics to the question of God seems to be the only way in which we can both integrate the material & spiritual into our world view, without the two contradicting each other. If you aren't aware of the most fundamental implications of quantum physics, this book has the potential of changing and challenging your world view. Goswami displays, in a peaceable way, that within "new science", there is room for both physics and spiritualism. "Quantum Activist" Amit Goswami conclusively challenges us, the reader to become Quantum Activists ourselves in order to better the planet and to evolve society as a whole. The insight and acceptance of a true, universal creator alone, and the implications that come with it should be our starting point.
Not having read any previous books of the author (at least ten), it appears to be a well balanced "summary" of his work, as Goswami often gives reference to topics discussed in his previous books, as well as to the work of many other scientists and authors when discussing one of the many related topics. To prove the case of a universal Creator, the most complex problem to resolve in science, it is of course necessary to approach this from many different angles. With all it's different content, the book appears to be very well structured. Sometimes a little dry, however the author on some occasions shows to have great humor which will make you smile.
This book deals with the following topics
Science (materialism, history, etc.)
Quantum Physics (fundamentals, it's implications)
Biology (Darwin, evolution, genetics)
Philosophy
Religion (Christianity, Buddhism, various spiritual traditions from India, Japan)
Psychology [Social behavior, Dream Interpretation, Archetypes, etc. (Freud, Jung)]
ESP [Extrasensory perception (telepathy, etc.)]
NDE [near death experiences, prior to Eben Alexander's "Proof of Heaven" (2012)]
The inconsistencies of materialist science (fossil gaps in archeology, and many, many others)
Negative points I have to mention
Still a few typos
On one or two occasions Goswami's reference to a diagram on an earlier page isn't correct
As with many books from American publishers, even with the hardcover edition, the paper quality frankly is moderate
Bottom Line
Amit Goswami goes into the depth. He appears to have a vast knowledge on the topics he's writing about. Some technical descriptions and spiritual ideas aren't always easy to grasp for average Joe, but a reader who's interested in the topic shouldn't shy away from it. It's a colossal work; not in pages, but in content. It should provide the reader with much material for discussion, many things to further investigate (plenty of references), and with much to ponder on.
